This is something I have a hard time with. I love my books, whether they’ve been read or not. Being surrounded by books comforts me and, besides my family, they make my house feel like a home.

I basically said this to my husband, hoping he would get the hint that I need more bookshelves in the house! He was a decent wood shop student in high school (granted, that was a million years ago) and we still have a bookshelf he built. I want another one just like it. Is that so much to ask for?
