I really want to take part in this, but since it’s a contest to see who can read the most number of hours during a 48-hour time period, I think I need “permission” from my husband to completely disengage from family life for the weekend. Somehow I have a feeling he’s going to say, “No.”

A blog written by a fourth grader whose goal it was to read all the Newbery Medal winners before starting middle school (fifth grade for her). Since accomplishing her goal she continues to write book reviews. I’d love for my son (also fourth grade) to do something like this …
